I have two HS210's for sale. They both function perfectly. Cosmetically one is near mint, the other shows a few small nicks. Overall, the carpet on both is smooth.

One I bought used in February 2012 here on TalkBass. It was my primary cab, used more often for rehearsals and shows. The small cosmetic flaws pictured below were present when I received it from the previous owner.

The other was purchased new in November 2011. Once I acquired the 2nd cab, this was used more at home and as an extension when I needed both. The condition is near mint, with the usual scuffs on the corner plastic pieces.

Don't do it... This is the one rig I regret selling lately. It does small/large/new school and old.

Loved this set up.

I don't think so. Sounds like that would work better with the HT210s. This is a different design goal.

These are last generation ceramic 210's the current one is HD210.

Oh man.... I miss my big Berg cabs! But I love the portability of 2x10 cabs. Would these have some of the oomph I was used to w/ my NV425 and 215 cabs?? In other words, do they sound more substantial than the smaller boxes lighter weight 2x10s?

I know some guys here have used the HS210 as a smaller-gig substitute for the NV610.
For a ported cab, it is supposed to be an excellent match for all tube heads. They are a bit low-end attuenuated like a sealed cab. Together the two cabs sound pretty massive.
They sounded great to me when I used a Shuttle 9.0. I could get away with just one for most gigs. I think they sound even better with a WalkAbout, but using only one with the WA's 185W is often a bit shy for my needs. If I recall correctly, the design goal for these cabs was to make something more efficient that can work well with lower powered/smaller heads. I think they are more low-mid tuned, and they get loud...very apparent in a busy mix. This, and the attenuated low-end could be why they are reported to work so well with tube amps. I made them work well with all varieties. PM me if you have more questions. I also remember the other guys who used these along with NV stuff and tube amps if you are interested in more info.

No, that is the HT210s. Not many of those were made. Same size, VERY different voicing.

Bump for a great stack... warm, tight, punchy.

+1 These cabs are the update of the venerable SA210, which was designed to match with the Sadowsky tube amp. When that product was taken off the market, Jim modified the OEM drivers to still be tight and punchy, but to allow a more open low end that would pair up better with the typical solid state amp. Since they still retain the mid punch of the SA cabs, they are quite efficient, hence the 'High Sensitivity' name. Nice cabs... very 'Thunderfunk' sounding (as an amp comparison...warm, even, smooth, organic, punchy).

Good luck with the sale. Great cabs for those who want that sort of 'vintage meets modern' sort of tone.

These are almost identical to the current HD210's.... Jim just tweaked the drivers a bit for a bit more upper mid clarity. Someone will get a good deal here! Great cabs for the P Bass/J Bass guys IMO.
