I purchased this Tom Martinson 5 string fretless bass on eBay. It's a gorgeous bass with a curly Shedua top, walnut back and neck, and ebony unlined fretless board. The board appears to be finished in some sort of epoxy and is currently strung with rounds, so some grooving is visible. The side dots are in the position they would be on a fretted bass.
Controls are a passive V/T wired to a Jazz style pickup in a matching Shedua casing. The bass sounds wonderful, but the neck is a bit big for my liking and the action a bit higher than I prefer as well.
