Had to Google this because I had no idea what it was!
Most of the reviews say it works well but they all talked about using it on a Strat. What kind of tone enhancement does it give for bass?

It moves the dead spot on most instruments. Oftentimes it moves it to a place between notes so that it is no longer as apparent.
