What we have here is a 5 string FrankenWashburn xb925 with the American ash body with quilt maple top, EMGs, bart preamp, that someone fashioned a hammerhead 5 neck to with a shim on the side of the pocket. Got it here in trade maybe a year ago- mostly ignored (since i have such cool
Basses :) )
Try as i may, i will never develop a relationship with this neck.
Very modern sounding with the Bart/EMG combo.
Hand finished by someone in gunstock tru oil?? Probably.
I would like a Hartke 7000 head in direct trade. Other groovy heads like that considered.
I would accept $250 shipped CONUS firm.

Wow, that thing is really bastardized! Cool, though. I don't suppose you're local to So Cal?

Bump for my old bass. Sorry you did not connect with it. Excellent value for a good bass. I know it is a mutt of sorts but it is a good sounding mutt and if the neck suits you it plays good too.

Bump for a nice bass.

XB925 is a really nice bass, too bad the neck has been replaced. Do you have the old neck and pickups? What does the added pot do?

1) only neck I have is that hammerhead neck. My understanding is that this was NEVER a fully assembled xb925, the parts were ebay sourced and luthier assembled- the finish is a home tru oil type finish. I have no idea what any of the knobs do- im a passive bass kinda dinosaur.
Actually the bass sounds great, you get a very jeff berlin modern plethora of tones. It is a true sleeper- I just dont prefer rosewood or active preamps. The preamp is bartolini- if no one buys it or trades me for it eventually ill give it to my 3 year old son when hes big enough to hold it!
Still looking for a LedSled of 400 watts or more, non class D and something that would operate safely at 2 ohms.

Preamp is a Bartolini MK1 and the controls are as follows: bass, mid, treble, pan and volume. Did you trade me an ATK5 for this bass? If so would you like to trade back?
