Sold... pending money order arrival. Thanks folks!
Well, I never thought I'd sell this, but my 12/6 + 12sub just fit my needs better. I really wish I could keep it but I live in a condo and room is on the tight side and this cab just isnt seeing much playing time it should given that my 12/6 does virtually everything I need and when I need more I just add my 12sub.
I built this myself exactly to Greenboy specs. I built it to be light and took great pains to research the lightest hardware and wood possible. Its built of Italian Poplar high grade ply. Even though it is light, it is rock solid. In comparison I previously owned a composite AoN 15/6 and it was 39.6LBS. This one is only 3.4LBS heavier than composite but I made sure that despite its light weight it does not compromise weight for optimum performance and durability. I added ALL the optional bracing and I even added more bracing to the baffle, which is total overkill but I wanted to be sure it was built well.
I put alot of tender loving care into this build and took my time to do it right. As you can see from the pics below the cab is in excellent shape as there are no major dings, scratches etc.
Here are some pics from the build process.
In this pic you can see I added the optional top brace to eliminate vibration from the top of the cab.
Pics of the cab as it is now (apologies for the less than great quality pics):
Close up shots of the black western style tolex on the baffle.
Heavy duty single speakon input. I like this one because it easier to see on a dark stage when setting up etc.
As to price new from an Authorized Builder you would pay about $1200. This one is for sale for substantially less at $725 + shipping. No trades please. Money Order only please.
I have all summer to sell this and am not in a rush so please no low ball offers.
For Americans the cab will be shipped from Point Roberts, WA State Zip 98281 using USPS. This will greatly reduce shipping costs for you.
