This is the 2nd Benavente Vortex ever made. I took a chance on a (then) unknown builder and I wound up liking this bass so much I bought 6 more 
, including my custom 219B with similar woods.
Rare 'bubble quilt' maple full maple top on alder. Stunning cocobolo board and pickup covers, 3 piece flame maple neck. 35" scale, Hipshot hardware, 19mm, DiMarzio (?) pickups and a East U-Retro preamp. Weighs in right around 9 lbs (I'll post an exact weight later). Includes a gig bag. I actually had THG make me some matching maple & cocobolo stacked knobs and then promptly accidentally threw away the set screws for them
- the knobs are included of course.
Nice condition overall. I'll get some highly detailed pics up later. There's a few belt/button marks on the backside in the satin finish but that's about it. The bass has been in storage and could use a nice fresh setup.
For sale only, $1600 + actual shipping. I'd love to keep it forever but the bills be piling up and this bass really deserves to get played all the time! Paypal is fine.
