FS: 32" scale Triple Omega CocoBolo/Maple Body w Maple neck & Rosewood fretboard
The only reason I am selling this bass as some of you may know is that I had neck surgery on C4 -C5 vertebrae & I had so much spinal edema & nerve damage that my spine/nerves have never healed. ( Over 2 years now ) Playing is a chore after about 20 - 30 minutes. All of my fingers usually on both hands w the exception of my pinkies experience some level of numbness. I am going to sell all of my gear more than likely. MarkBass AMP and Cab for sale as well listed now !!!

[DEL]$949[/DEL] [DEL]$849[/DEL] [DEL]$789[/DEL] $769 shipped. Insured CONUS. If you are interested please feel free to ask any questions. NO trades please. Cash is King Pay Pal ok

this bass features 3 nice pieces of CocoBolo w Maple sandwiched in the body. It was made in the tradition of a hippie sandwich. It was $400 & purchased here.

Neck made by Johnson's Strangely Weird Musical Instruments $849 (the old neck was too far gone so he made me one :) ). A great luthier.

Schaller bridge and tuners over $250. Schaller bass bridge, with roller saddles, Chrome, Adjustable spacing 2-3/32" to 2-1/2". The base plate is 3-1/8" x 2-1/4. Each saddle is adjustable for height and intonation. String spacing is very configurable left or right.

$150 For a pro setup aka intonation and electronics installation was done by Bordentown Guitar Rescue (NJ - Mike Virok)

The Bass is featuring DiMarzio Ultra Jazz pickups $100

ACG EQ-02 Preamp preamp $250. A 9volt pre ( can be turned into 18 volt ) You can read about it in the link below from best bass gear:

http://www.bestbassgear.com/acg-eq-02-preamp.htm

You will get a strap $40 - free

I will ship in a regular gig bag

There are a few dings and things but nothing to deter you from having an Alembic type bass !

The radius of the neck is 12". 24 medium frets and a smooth as silk when played. Neck is a bolt on w threaded metal grommets utilizing metal screws to hold the neck very tight . This makes for is quite a bit of sustain.

Musicians SHOULD NOT have to sell their instruments to pay for medical care. Makes me sad. What a cool bass, sorry I'm not in the market. Best of luck to you, brother.

What is the nut width?
Keep in mind it is shaved a little thinner than a Gibson of the early 70's. Almost in the essence of a Rick 4001 w a nice thin neck from the mid 70's

a. Width at Nut: 1.65” (41.91mm)
b. Width at Last Fret: 2.5” (63.50mm)
c. Thickness at 1st Fret: .800” (29.32mm) a little flatter as opposed to a classic rounded c shape but still in the realm of a c shaped neck
d. Thickness at 12th Fret: .900” (22.86mm)

That is a stunning bass at an incredible price. I would be all over it if I didnt just throw a bunch of money into fixing up my basement. Damn.
