This is an older PJ5 serial number - 4288
Ash body - '59 Burst
Maple Finger Board
Tort Guard
3100.00 + shipping - no trades
I purchased this from Brian at the Lowend in January.
When I got the bass it was a little bit of a mess. After a
good cleaning it looked pretty good and sounded awesome.
One of the control knobs is stuck out of the normal position.
I tried to get the knob off but it's stuck and I didn't want to
pull to hard and break the pot. But everything works
perfectly. The pick guard screws are a little rusty.
There are a couple of stains on the neck and there is some
pretty good headstock rash. The bass has low action with
no fret buzz. The body is in very good shape. There are
only a couple of very small dings and minor scratches.
I'm having trouble with my Supporting Membership and
have sent TB message. As soon as I get that straight I'll
post more pics.
Thanks for looking!
