I hate to put up my my beloved Fender Precision Elite II with custom paint color #551 - Black Stratoburst but I need to pay some bills.
This bass is very solid and nearly mint. All chrome is bright and non-pitted. Finish has no dents on the end, face nor back. I would say it is a 9.5/10 except for these tiny marks.
1. just a bit of a rub on the very end of the head ( see pic )
2. some light marking on the back.. not through the paint, just some marks, ( see pic )
This bass sounded amazing played through my Hartke 250w bass combo (now gone also). quite the range of settings.
It has the original thumb tuners, strap locks and some of the sales brochures from that period. Also includes a Fender strap although I don't believe it is original as I seem to remember having a standard brown one when I had a transparent cherry with gold hardware Elite II
If you've been looking for one, this just may be where your search will end. You'll be hard pressed to find one in a better condition.
