Reluctantly up for sale is my BFR (Ball Family Reserve) Big Al with a honey roasted neck, ebony fingerboard and SSS pickup configuration. Like most everyone says that has owned one of these, Big Als are among the most versatile basses available - everything from Pbass roundness to Stringray punch is here at the press of a button or turn of a knob. It is in overall very good condition with some light playwear on the pickguard and one small ding about 1" above the pickguard between the neck and middle pickups. I tried to get a picture of the ding, but it is hard to capture accurately. Also, the pics make the bass look quite black - up close it is more like a dark gray metallic. Ships in OHSC.
Although the BFRs typically go for a substantial premium to regular Big Als, I'll let this one go for about the same amount due to the ding - $1300 shipped to the CONUS, Paypal only.
As for trades, I'd consider the following:
Fender Road Worn Jazz + $$
Fender American Deluxe Jazz V + $
Aguilar TH500 + $
Mesa Prodigy (I can dream) + $
