This gold top Casady sounds incredible with the Labella Deep Talkin' flats I have installed. It's a lovely bass and the three-position varitone switch gives you plenty of options for sound.

The body is fairly large, but the bass makes up for it with solid sound. It has been babied and there's not a mark on it other than a small crack in the finish at the top end of the fretboard. The top came loose and was re-glued, and has been solid for 3+ years.

I bought the factory hard case for it (nothing else fits) and have been very careful with it. My goal is for a bass to look as good 10 years after I buy it as it did the day I bought it.

$450 plus shipping takes it. No trades, please. The strap in the photos is not included.

Here's the finish crack at the top end of the fretboard which extends to about the first fret - let me assure you there is NO problem with the fretboard or neck since this has been glued securely.

Make this a killer Christmas present at a GREAT price for you!

Hi, interested in the Casady gold top. How much playing has it seen? Fretwear? Where & when manufactured? Thanks.

It probably has all of 10 hours of playing time on it. I have a dozen basses and this one hasn't seen much time, which is one reason I'm selling. There is no fret wear at all. It's made in Korea, which I think is normal for the Casady series. I've had it for 3 years at least, but I don't have a record of when I got it.
