A 2002 7/8 Kolstein Fendt.
This has been my primary bass for the last few years and saw me through conservatory and many years in the jazz trenches in NYC. This bass is LOUD. Huge, dark sound with a lot of projection. There are a few bumps and bruises on it but all crack repairs/seams have been done at David Gage's shop and the bass is healthy in every way.
I play almost exclusively jazz but it has a powerful arco sound and would be an excellent mid-level professional/advanced conservatory student instrument for classical playing.
Comes with:
New tail piece, new endpin assembly, Gage realist pickup, Helicore Hybrid Medium gauge strings.

Width at the upper bout: 20 1/2 in.
Width at the center bout: 15 1/2 in.
Width at the lower bout: 27 in.
Mensure (string length): 41 5/8 in.
