After buying/selling a dozen or so basses on TB, I've learned that I prefer a more modern sounding bass so this one is up for sale/trade.
I got this beautiful Fender AVRI 62 Reissue P bass from a fellow TB'er about a month ago, never even gigged with it! This was was made in 2006. It plays amazing and sounds like a true vintage instrument. It does have a couple battle scars, there is a tiny chip near the neck which you'll see in the pictures from the neck being adjusted(common with these nitro finishes) and the back has a decent sized chip from previous owner(that you don't ever really see unless you look on the underside of the bass).
[DEL]$1,000 [/DEL] [DEL]$940 [/DEL] $880 shipped. The ONLY trade I'm really looking for is a Fender America Deluxe Precision bass(the newer model with the jazz pickup/active/passive switch, not the humbucker model).
A couple pictures show the bass with a black pickguard. Im keeping that one, the original tort pickguard has since been put back on and is included in the sale. Also, I bought a bridge cover(I'll include this also) that I never installed, and there are no holes for any covers drilled(what you see in the picture is just the bridge cover resting on the bass, not installed).
Includes original hard shell vintage case.
