FT feeler for my black American Jazz. I'm looking for ~$700 in cash or trade, which is what I have into it. It's literally been played three times since I received it; I just can't get into the jazz and keep going back to my pbasses, so it's time for someone to actually enjoy this one.

Apologies for the lack of pictures, I'll get them posted tomorrow.

I’m interested mainly in guitars of equal or similar value +/- cash with P90s (particularly Gibson, more particularly SGs), or UK made Ashdown ABM amps. Unique or vintage basses are also of interest.

TB’er 4OnTheFloor described it a whole lot better than I ever could, so following is the original description from his post that I purchased it through, along with the url to the original thread.

Black with black pg and rosewood neck. This is a player's bass so there are dings and playwear there is a shallow ding in the neck behind the 4th fret (see photo). There are dings in the body as well. The tuning pegs D G are slightly bent, but fully operable. The non original parts are the tone capacitor (now an Angela Jensen Copper Foil paper in oil .047uF cap) and I removed the S-1 original neck volume control (replaced with cts pot). I kept the s-1 original pot/switch so it is included in the sale. I replaced the original strap buttons with Dunlop strap locks.
The thing I used a lot, but is not for everyone is I installed a thumb rest above the bridge pickup. This was screwed into the body and there is no way to cover the holes.
The bass is set up with medium action and the strings are Rotosound Swing 66.
The quartersawn neck is wonderful and plays like butter. This is definitely a "good" Fender, the neck grain is nice and tight, plus the graphite rods. This neck never needed truss rod adjustment (truss rod works perfect) granted I don't switch string brands or sets. This is the stiffest Fender Jazz neck I have ever played, I've played a few, very solid feel.
I need to sell this due to tight finances and I end up playing my other bass all the time, so as nice as the tone is, it is time to sell my jazz.
The bass comes with OHSC.
