Balances well. Never noticed an issue with balance. Weighs 8 lbs 12 ozs. Check out the link to the old thread for small finish issue on back of the head.

Bump for a classic looking Roscoe LG! Beautiful top!

The Demeter preamp just totally kills in a Roscoe.

And yes, the factory installed Roscoe Demeter's had a switch .....

I will trade you one of Joe's kidneys for it. Beautiful bass, I tried my best to get Mrs. Crash to buy into my reasons of why I need this bass but the answer was no. For some reason she thinks I only need one 5 string and one 4 string and quite doesn't understand why I need the 4 string when the 5 string has the same strings plus an additional string. She commented, "Can't you play everything on the 5 string that you can play on the 4 string?" Women just don't understand us guys. At that point I didn't even try to go into the difference woods, pickups and electronics make in the tone of the bass as she refereed to me being a Roscoe Whore.

The switch is real but not Roscoe installed. I had the Demeter put in a few years back when the bass was mine.
