B.C. Rich Stealth Bass, NJ Series (Japan) from the late 80's. This bass is fairly rare and I picked it up here locally in LA and put it on stage a few times this year with great results. It has the "Reverse-P" pickup arrangement made famouse by BC Rich at the time. For such a basic electronic arrangement, it puts out a fantastic clear but thunderous sound. It has been a favorite of my band mates and fans.

This bass is very light (less than 8 lbs). 30 years of useage shows the expected bumps, and scratches. THere is also a fair amount of tarnish on the bridge and I took the liberty to move the strap pegs to a better location for fit. It looks gloss black, but actually has a dark purple tint to it. Frets look good for its age and there are no playing issues. Its clear with no buzz from my playing, with a nice straight neck. Currently set up BEAD. This is a bolt-on neck.

Comes with a Japanese B.C.Rich Coffin Case lined with Red.

This is a rare piece. I will let it go for $400 plus shipping.

Cool!

I have the exact same thing in a 6 string guitar version, black, bolt neck, 2 humbuckers, Fender style tremolo.

Excellent build quality and the rosewood board on mine is beautiful.

Super light weight, I pulled the stock pickups and I need to get the Fender style tremolo set up better but it sounds amazing with upgraded pickups... not that the stock ones weren't good but I think they squealed a bit under gain.

I never see these.

How’s it going? I was wondering if this bass was still for sale. I play in two Thrash Metal bands from Santa Rosa CA, and I think this bass would make the stage presents even better.

Tyler, I bought this some years back, as you can see in the thread. I loved it, it was super light, rare, and bass ass cool. However, it wasn't something I was playing that much. I sold it to a gent in Chicago, I missed it and a year later bought it back. That impulse... But alas, found myself again not really utilizing it. So I moved it to a close friend in New York - who I believe is a member here. I believe he still has. I am asking him now and I will reply back.. If he has, I am sure he will entertain selling it.
