This happened about 3 years ago and my amp repairman (I thought) said blown fuse. At any rate it cost about $20 to fix.
If this is a deal breaker I will get it serviced myself and let you know.

The amps are prone to some distortion when the jacks get dirty, all it will need is some cleaning up of the amps jacks. I've been using them for years and it is one of their querks.... the send and return are the normal culprits as they are rarely used and the dust causes problems over time. on the short term you can get rid of the distortion by plugging a cord in and out rigorously in the jacks which will usually get you through a weekend. It's a 25 dollar cleaning to have it back good as new... My repair guy who is a long time 40yr plus electronics shop owner says they ae the best amps going with awesome electronics but they put 50cent jacks in them.... good luck awesome amp...

I had an early model power supply failure. Was blowing fuses. Parts are unavailable so the amp is now trash. I'm not happy with G-Ks customer support.

The MB200's used to have power supply problems and were prone to blowing fuses as they overheated. When they did they cut out and wouldn't work or quit altogether. Never had that problem with the MB150S...... my old 200 did cut out on occassion but man they were a sweet toned amp...
