MTD KZ5 modified to fretless, Bartolini pickups and OBP 3 preamp, Rosewood lined fingerboard, it has been just planning and oiled by Greg Coates luthier at Future Music in LA. Strung with Sadowsky flatwounds. Hipshot Bridge and Tuning Machines.

Pretty one... Do you think she would be suitable as first fretless? I'm thinking about jumping to FL, but never played one...

Does she comes with case or gig bag?

It comes with a Gig bag. The dots were moved to be aligned with the lines to help with the intonation. It sounds quasi like an upright with the flat wounds. It is important to use your ear more than look at the lines, a good way to practice on a fretted is to place your finger next to the fret.

Thanks, wouldn't be so hard to learn as I play near the frets... I'm really tempted, but I need to find a HSC for her... my mom is going to fly the bass with her from LA to Peru, but she can't take with her in the cabin...
