Details

We have for grabs a Fender American Standard Precision Bass V/5-string from 2012. It's in pretty good condition, though it has a small share of nicks. Loved playing this one, gotta give it a good home, having a wedding later this year, want to raise a little more cash.

NOTE: The L5000 in the picture is no longer for sale.

I'm looking for [DEL]$900[/DEL] $850 on the Fender, shipped to your door in the continental United States.

How much do you yourself weigh?

I weigh 159-162lbs on any given day.
I'm also 6'0" tall.
My shoe size is 10.5-11 depending on the brand.
My favorite cuisines are Italian, Chinese and Indian.
I have an honest face.
I also enjoy romantic walks by the beach.

You forgot to mention your sign.

Also, can you tell what the string spacing is on the L5000?

You neglected to mention your hand measurements in your stats...

How to respond to this while also having something of information to the sale so I don't get in trouble...

Ah!

1. Who cares about hand measurements?

2. The G&L is equipped with D'Addario Chromes Flatwound Strings, and the Fender has D'Addario Nickel Roundwounds.

3. This particular L5000 is also one of the few models made after Leo's death, and one of the few with the standard G&L headstock, rather than the more common sickle headstock for this bass, making this extra rare. Only around 400 of the G&L L5000 were ever made, and I think only one in this color. It's also the only low-B 5-string that Leo ever designed himself.

I have a 1989 G&L L5000 with the sickle headstock, and was one of approximately 75 made with a "By Leo Fender" sticker. It's in "A" cherry condition and hardly ever used. A nice bass, and not used due to its rarity and value. The pickup is powerful, almost as strong as a good active pickup.

Indeed it is. I decided to hold onto the L5000, only the Fender P is for sale, and the price has been dropped to $850 shipped.
