Sean Hurley used to play one of these. I clearly recall it sounded GREAT. A cool Fender indeed.

Thanks everyone. Yes, this is an awesome bass especially when it is on the mid-boost setting. Great p sound plus clear and cut through. It has a 4-way switch that controls the active and passive settings. 1-off, 2-active with mid-boost, 3-active no mid boost, 4-passive. Awesome sounding passive and active. Here's some more pictures. Thanks for looking.

How much does it weigh? Also, is the volume consistent when switching from the P pup to he J pup? How does the J pup sound when soloed?

10 lbs. The volume is consistent but there is more bass tones in the p pu when switching. The j pu sounds great very close to my 78 fender jazz when soloed. It has both active and passive so you get a lot of different choices of tone.

That's on my bathroom scale. It may be a little bit lighter or heavier. I may need to take it to the post office for a more accurate weight for future reference. Thanks for looking.
