This bass is an absolute monster but I'm desiring more of a Fender on steroids tone. Hoping to specifically find a trade for a recent model Sadowsky 5 with an alder body/maple top and pau ferro board. Will consider other brands, but must have those woods with 1 7/8" nut & 19mm spacing. Especially interested in a Will Lee 5, despite the 1 3/4" nut. I do not care for maple boards at all, so I'll pass on those offers.

The tone is open and transparent as you would expect with all MTDs with the Bart package. You can clearly hear the warmth and clean top end from the Makore & Maple, but more even sounding than the typical ash body. The finger board tone is very similar to pau ferro, and stunningly beautiful! I can provide sound samples if required.
