Some different sounds. Went direct out from the tecamp (post eq) into motu 8pre, into logic 9. No mixing/effects in logic. Used an american standard fender jazz. Went back and forth between bridge pickup and both pickups. Tone all the way up, except for the last palm-muted jam.

Yea I love this amp, but there's a preamp box and cab (and much more gear) I am looking to get. Might buy another down the road hahaha!

If I'm correct, only the power section. It was made in 2008 if that helps.

I hear the preamp is different, too. I used to own a 2U Puma 500 and currently own a 1U Puma 900. The 500 was slightly warmer and had slightly wider lows that sounded especially good with acoustic bass. The difference was subtle but definitely discernible. I like both of them.

I can definitely agree on how nice my upright sounded through this head. I am lowering the price to $625 plus shipping, as I am looking to move this amp and get some new gear I've been wanting! Hopefully someone will snag this deal before I come to my senses!
