I took this in on trade with the intention of flipping it, and almost decided to keep it. I took it to a rehearsal last night, and it's a solid bass. It sounds good, plays well, and looks good. Can't ask for much more, especially at this price point.
This is Fender's "low end" line, but I really can't find any faults with this bass. Alder body, maple neck, and two "double" J pickups. The bass feels like a P bass, and sounds like a slightly thicker jazz. The bass has a volume control for each pickup and a master tone. The body is in better condition than most basses you see hanging at GC. It's not "brand new", but there are also no blemishes, dings, etc. Very minor marks from being played is all you'll find on this bass.
List on these is $699 and they sell most placed for $499. $300 plus a few extra sheckles for shipping if needed. In fact, I'll split the actual shipping with a buyer. I'm not really looking for trades right now. I'm trying to gather funds for an amp purchase.
