SOLD! MTD 535-24 s/n 2132.
Just two years old. I'm the original owner-purchased new from Austin Bass Traders in 2012 and kept in immaculate condition 9.5/10-can't see a blemish on it. Will ship in an MTD hardshell case. Too many basses right now forces this sale.
Specs
The bass has an Ash body, black burst Quilted Maple top, Birds Eye Maple fingerboard, Ash neck. 35 inch scale, 19mm string spacing, just over 9 lbs. on my bathroom scale, double truss rods in the neck, and proprietary Bartolini pickups and preamp (vol/blend/treble/mid/bass), includes mid frequency selector switch (250, 500, 1K). Features the Buzz Feiten tuning system. I had larger side dots professionally installed.
Sound
This particular wood combination offers a very aggressive and full presentation for both finger style and slapping that will cut through any mix-great growl and tonal complexity though out its entire range. This bass covers it all-I've played it on rock, funk, and jazz sessions with ease.
Asking $3395 shipped CONUS insured. Paypal preferred, will consider other forms of payment. Very select trades-Bergantino AE210B cabinet (Jim's later version of this cab) or CN212, Epifani UL210 (Series 1, 2, or 3, 4 ohm only) with cash on your end. Not looking for any basses at this time. Please send PM with any questions. Thanks for looking!
