I'm looking up info on the bts system. Can they be used with passive pups??

These are both for EMG pickups. You need the BTS control for passive pickups.

You should be able to use the emg pre's with any pickups. A little bit of soldering is required tho. Passive pups just require the volume and blend pots to be changed to 250k instead of the 25k that emg sends. Email emg to verify this, but I'm 99% sure.

To clarify, the "system" come with the volume and blend 25k pots, the "control" only come with the eq pots.
