A bunch streamers were made and then misplaced in the early 90's
The bodies were later found and necks from 2001 were attached.
These will be the only arch top, contoured corvettes you will ever see.
Around 50 of these exist.

This is absolutely beautiful!

Can you clarify for me? Did these start life as Streamer bodies and then get reworked as corvette bodies after they were discovered? Do you have any documentation (or know of any) from Warwick on the history of these basses?

I'm not sure about the details on the body. From all the research I've done it's like these basses are things of legend. I spoke with someone who has one of these as well and he said that he contacted an engineer at warwick who said there were less than 30 made. I had also heard a figure more around 75. So I settled at 50.

Well . . . this is super-cool. I'm not familiar with this pickup configuration. Can you describe the tone characteristics of a mirrored P set-up (or point me to the exhaustive discussion on the topic that is bound to be here somewhere).

In my experience this configuration lets you control more nuances in the tone. It still has that punchy warwick sound. But this configuration gives you more of a command of the spectrum of tone.

As it is a warwick, it's not the lightest. But the body is semi-hollow so it's not as heavy as some warwicks.

yes, if you take care of shipping costs and use paypal. Shipping over there usually costs 125-150 (us)
