This is the bass I swore would go to the grave with me, but I'm not playing 4-string anymore so it just sits in the case, and I need to free up some cash.
This is an original, USA semi-hollow Reverend Rumblefish, the 47th bass made by the company. These early 'Fish are prized for their awesome playability and killer tone, and this one really delivers.
Bought new in November 1998. Semi-hollow phenolic body (wood/resin combo), maple neck, rosewood fretboard, Kent Armstrong pickups. The neck on this bass is the sweetest I've ever played, feels like a '62 Jazz.
Great condition for a 16-year-old bass, a couple of dings on the headstock and some discoloration on the "white wall" sides, and that's pretty much it.
Comes with the ultra-cool, red plush-lined tuxedo case and a Reverend strap.
$850 shipped on this one, but I'd strongly prefer a local-ish sale. I'll drop the price if you're in Georgia, Alabama or South Carolina and we can do an in-person sale.
