A new neck from a bass I just got from Rondo for a project. Nice and . . . loaded. Gave it a quick try and has that great "mwah" tone. Neck looks perfect except for one spot... See the picture (This was a "B Stock" bass from Rondo).
Closed my eyes to see if the spot can be felt with your finger... yes, though just barely.
Couldn't sense at all when holding down the string.
Frankly, I had a Fender Urge whose fingerboard edge was far, far worse. Never was an issue.
For $50 you get the loaded neck and the new flatwounds that came with it, too!
