3 basses on the block for now. The first two I vowed I'd never sell, but things/needs have changed, and for now, I'm going to give it a shot.

[SOLD]First I have a 2002 maple fretboard 55-02D , which was made in Korea, the 2nd year they made the skyline series. It has the best looking, most unique, Cherryburst Quilt top I've seen on a skyline. Lakland PU's and LH-3. It has some buckle rash on the back, but nothing through the finish. One ding on the neck, but it's on the bottom, so it never bothered me a bit. Some slight discoloration on the fretboard in a few spots from being played a lot, but she still plays like a dream. If I didn't have a 55-94, this one would never leave me, and I'm still skeptical about it, but for now I'll let it go for $950 shipped in a gig bag or hard case.[SOLD]

Next is a 2009 Fretless 55-02, with Lakland PU's and LH3 Pre, in excellent condition. Lakland fretless necks are about as good as they come, from what I hear, and this one certainly feels excellent, and has been Plek'd. It has a natural finish, with lined ebony fretboard. These are very rare to come by used, and I may not end up selling it, but I'm trying to make some moves, and figured I'd consider it. 1250 shipped in a gig bag or hard case.

Next up is a 2011, Indonesian made, 55-01 with custom maple knobs, in excellent condition. Just recently purchased this from TBer MMbongo. Natural Finish and Maple board. It has Pac man stickers over the inlays, but they can be removed easily. It has Bart MK5CBC's and Bart NTMB pre in it. Neck has been plek'd and plays like a dream. I really can only let this go in trade, or, if I sell the Fretless first, then i could possibly sell this.

Trade Bait- A newer(at least 2006) Fbass with rosewood or ebony fingerboard, a Modulus Q6(prefer barts), Sadowsky, Valenti, Wilkins or Lull. I prefer 5 strings, unless it's the Q6, but will listen 4 string offers. Obviously I'd have to ad some cash for most of these, unless you wanted both basses.

Other possible trades could include Cabs -I like Berg, Aguilar, Epifani, GK, Ampeg, Mesa, Eden, and I'm also open to new brands. Also interested in a couple of pedals [Pigtronix EP-1, Markbass SuperSynth], maybe a high power micro head, or some PA/studio gear. I'm also open to electronics.

PM me your email or phone number for pics.

Here's a Pic of the Quilt on the MIK 55-o2. Man it makes me wanna keep it. This pic is from the previous Owner, and, as stated above, I have since changed the electronics to US Lakland setup with LH-3

Here is two pics of the 55-o1 from the previous owner. Keep in mind I bought it last week, but I'm planning to keep the US Bart Electronics, unless we work out some kind of other deal.

What year is the 55-02 fretless, please ? And what pickups/electronics does it have (can't make out anything on the pickups in the pics) ?

Thanks.

Sorry, I thought i posted that, but i didn't. It is a 2009, and has Lakland PU's and Electronics. Upon checking out how to see what year it was made, I discovered that the 55-02, is a 2002, not a 2001. The 55-01 is a 2011. Original post has been edited to reflect these findings. Sorry for any confusion, because, I was confused myself. LOL

Do you still have the Bart PU and Pre on your 55-02D?
Currently, yes I do, but it is going in my 55-94 tomorrow evening. I've wanted to do it for a while but haven't had enought time without a gig to go to my tech, but we finally got our schedules linked up, so now I can sell the 55-02. I still don't wanna sell the 02, but can't justify keeping it right now.

The reason why I am asking is I am interested in your 55-02D. But I don't like Lakland electronics.

My 55-94 is newer and had Lakland electronics. It is possible I might let the pickups go, but I may keep the whole set. I'll let you know after my experiment tomorrow night.

May be interested in that MIK, can someone remind me, does it have the reinforced graphite like in the current 55-02's?

I'm not sure.. Can anyone else chime in? I'm headed out the door for some rehearsal's right now, but if no one chimes in, I'll search it when I have some time, after I get home.

How did it turn out? Can I get 55-02D with Bart PU and Pre?
I didn't really get to do much experimenting, because changing the different pre's is a task, due to different layouts and preamp design. I definitely will not let both go, but may let the PUs go after experimenting. I know I want the pre, but you could get a new Bart pre, and IMHO, they haven't changed that much.

Got some possible deals on both 55-02's, but as of now, nothing for sure. I'm thinking of selling the 55-01 with the US Bart electronics. The price would probably be 850-900 with the MK5CBC's and NTMB.
