PRICE DROP: $2050 shipped! CONUS
For sale is my Mike Lull PJ 5. I've owned the bass since new and I have recently encountered some financial hardship and I'd like to sell the bass. This isn't a must sell; however, it would make my life a little easier if I could sell it.
The bass has a rosewood finger board. I'm not sure if the body is ash or alder; but, according to the CoA (I'll send it with the bass) the weight of the bass is 8.8 lbs. By weight, I would assume that this is an alder body. The scale is 35", 24 fret.
The bass originally came with a 2 band Aguilar preamp and I have since replaced it with a Sadowsky preamp. The preamp has VTC and can played in passive mode. In my opinion the bass carries the Sadowsky tone with the refinement and slimness of a Lull neck. I've owned a metro and NYC Sadowsky in the past and tone wise, the Lull has the same punch and clarity.
The neck is great for finger tapping and chording. I would say that it is a little on the slim side and is definitely fast.
Bass will be shipped in the original Lull bag with the certificate authenticity.
