Alder with Brazilian Rosewood board. Matte finish nitro body.
Tortoise guard/electronics cover (on back)
Vol/Tone/stacked Bass-Treble boost
hum cancelling pickups
Presently strung with new D'Addario BT's medium low action
This was the personal bass of Kevin Drexler (Sadowsky employee at the time, and maybe still), and I am the third owner. I do not have a scale, but from his original classified post it weighs less than 8.0 lbs. It is extremely lightweight, and in beautiful shape. Cosmetic flaws are on the back and the underside of the treble horn, same as described in Kevin's post. Great bass, but I'm starting to obsess about something else and this one is not getting played. My priority is stockpiling funds for something else, but I'll consider trades for Sadowsky 5's with VTC, or early 70's rosewood P's.
2850 shipped CONUS. No Sadowsky case, but will ship very well packed in a nylon gig bag
