For sale Ampeg SVT-II (NON-Pro) with KT-88's

I love my SVT-II. These things have the best tone I've ever heard when paired with a Svt 810. They are also getting hard to find.

Bumping to say I saw your band play with ALOL a while ago and your SVT rig sounded killer. GLWTS.

What brand KT-88's? Any idea how much mileage the tubes have on them?

Not sure. They say KT-88 MADE IN CHINA

What's the weight on that thing? Also does the power supply have a grounding pin?

It's about 85 or 90 pounds. Yes it's grounded (it's not THAT old haha!)

Geez, this is a fair deal. I have the same amp, in excellent condition with new tubes and caps, a new fan, and replaced with much better fuse holders. I tried to get a thousand for it and got nothing but offers of $700 or less, so I still own it. I saw someone asking for $1400 recently for a six year old SVT-II Pro and they sold it rather quickly. (???) The SVT-II non-pro is a better sounding and more reliable amp than the SVT-II Pro, IMO, and in the opinions of many of us here on TB.

This is the cheapest price to get a real fully functioning SVT I have seen. And, it comes with the original case, which is rare, no longer made, and generally bring $100-200 when they do come up for sale. If you can handle 85 pounds, someone should grab this!
