Hi, don't mind me asking but what purpose does the copper foil with a soldered wire serve on the bottom of the pickups. I've even seen that on like magnets and stuff. Is that part conductive? Also Nordi SE are single coils? Thank You

Split coil design. The copper foil and third wire are standard on this set. I'll try to dig up some info....
