SOLD! ~ $1050 Shipped/obo CONUS 48 - *NO TRADES PLEASE*
Up for grabs is my new (essentially) G&L LB-100. Now I know what some of you are going to say: "After all you went through trying to get this bass, you're just going to let it go??"
For those of you who don't know, I waited 8.5 months to get it because G&L screwed up my first build twice and I finally had them rebuild it from scratch. Well, maybe it's what I went through trying to get it that wore down my excitement for this bass, but I'm just not feeling it. It is a wonderful playing and sounding instrument, it's just not for me.
It was built in April of this year and has seen very little use in my personal practices, so there isn't a ding or scratch anywhere. The frets have been PLEK'd so the bass achieves low action easily. I also had it professionally shielded and it is dead quiet.
It comes with the OHSC, Certificate of Authenticity, and all the paperwork and case candy. As you can see in the picture, I had custom wood knobs made (cocobolo and maple), but the original metal knobs will also be included.
