I have 2 sets of Sadowsky Black Label flats for sale, one is the 45-105 standard gauge set, and the other is the 40-100 light gauge set. Both have been cut for a Fender Jazz Bass, with lots of length left on the silks (I barely trim any off when I string a bass)

Both sets were installed and then promptly removed, so they are like new.

I'm something of a connoisseur of flatwounds :) having tried every brand I can find on the market, and IMO these are among the very best you can get. Describing sounds is always difficult of course, but to me the Sadowskys have the best qualities of Labellas and D'Addario Chromes. They are deep and powerful like the Labellas, but much more consistent and balanced string-to-string, both in tone and volume. The wrap and feel of the surface is glassy smooth just like Labellas.

They have a nice bright top end like the Chromes, but it's smoother, and they break in sooner which gives you a nice combination of thump and bite. The light gauge set sounds remarkably like TI Jazz Flats to my ear, but the tension is much better...very flexible but not floppy like the TI's.

Tension on the standard set is midway between light gauge Chromes (45-100) and the Labella 760 FL set 43-104), feels great, not stiff. These are slightly darker sounding than the light gauge set.

I have these on a couple of my basses and they are just stellar. I tried them on a different Jazz and she just didn't care for them, so I've strung that one with rounds and put these up for sale.

$25 per set, or $45 for both. That includes Fed Ex shipping. Paypal please.
