Well, I had to have it and now I rarely play it. Way too nice to sit in its case all day!

Faint pickguard scratches are the only thing I've noticed that keeps it from being mint. Weight is about 10 pounds. Original hardshell case in excellent condition.

It's never left my house since then. I changed the strings to flats (Chromes) which are beautiful on this bass.

Looking closely at the back of the body, I see a few very small scuffs and one fine scratch. Hardly noticeable, but...

I am BOTH a fan of MM and Lakland. My two main basses are a Classic Ray that I've customized, and a first year SN 11 Lakie 4-94. MM (in that $1500 to $2000 price range) is the only company that compares to US Lakland IMO/IME. All the MM basses I've touched needed nutslot filing to get the action down to where a Lakland is, but everything else was primo. GLWTS, if I had the coin I'd buy your bass and get a custom paint job done on her.
