Selling my black MIM Precison Bass Special. Passive p/j, with a beautiful maple jazz neck which is blocked and bound in black, and a stock Badass bridge. Add the unique pickup configuration with Fender Noiseless pickups and you have the makings of a great bass guitar. I'm not totally anxious to sell this one. This was available from Fender through guitar Center exclusively and was not available anywhere else. It was available in black and a seafoam green which I personally wasn't crazy about. You can still get a bass similar to this one, but it will not be a passive bass which I think has a totally different tone. You will not be disappointed in this bass. It currently has Labella Flats on it which are not cheap strings and have a rich, deep tone. If you're looking to slap/pop, you may consider changing strings. It originally came with a tort guard, which I will include in the sale as well.
This is a great bass that looks as good as it sounds. Full disclosure there is a ding at the headstock. You can see it in the pic, just above the shadow on the G string tuner. It's noticeable if you have the fine tooth comb out, and certainly doesn't affect playability but I still wanted to point it out. I am the original owner.
