Feeler: For sale is a near mint 2010 Rickenbacker 4001c64 in Fireglo. All original, I'll spare the background on this model of bass assuming most of you know the story. It comes with the original silver case. Weighted in at 9.5 on my bathroom scale. Its currently strung with Roto flats and has great low action. Asking $2450 shipped as a beginning feeler, but will reduce if need be. Will accept $2300 if its a local sale in the DC, Baltimore, Philly, NJ area. I'm willing to travel up to an hour or two to get you the bass. This bass plays great, I'm only parting with it because I realized I'm more of a fender guy.
I consider this bass near mint for a couple of reasons.
1: there is a small indentation on the upper side of the body. Its barely visible and rather hard to photograph. The finish isn't chipped or checked anywhere on the body, but there is this one small blemish on the bass.
2: this bass seems to have a slight bridge lift, from what I've read its common on these basses.
3: one of the latches on the case is kind of finicky, I usually don't close it because it can jam.
As far as trades, really only interested in
Vintage Fenders
Vintage reissue fenders or CS fenders
German Hofners
