This is a Vintage Modified body, from the now discontinued Telecaster Bass Special. It had a chrome humbucker at the neck, but the previous owner opened up the pickguard to put in a DiMarzio DP145 pickup. The previous owner did the PG mod by hand and it's a little on the rough side, but a chrome trim would cover everything up, I think. I bought it in pieces and it has stayed that way ever since.
It is a very attractive 2pc body that is so well bookmatched that it looks like a single piece of wood. I don't know that the bass was ever played as the body is in great shape with no buckle rash and only the very lightes of scratches in the clear that could be buffed out. Any shapes you see on the surface are reflections of the ceiling tiles/lights in my office.
Included is the body, with thru hole ferrules, the PG and the strap pins. Well packed in a Fender "body box", shipped by Fedex ground with tracking #.
