Vintage Hondo Double Neck Longhorn Electric Bass
- Estimated at early 1980's. Solid body and a much higher quality build than a Danelectro
- Two 34" scale necks - one 8 string bass and one 4 string bass
- Two output jacks - one for the 8 string bass only and one switchable between the two necks
- The white switch is the pickup selector switch for the 8 string neck
- The black switch is the neck selector switch
- The lower two knobs are for the 4 string neck, the upper two are for the 8 string neck
- Instrument weighs 13.5 lb. - there are 4 strap buttons to choose from for optimum comfort
- Near mint condition - kept in the case in a closest
- There is some rust on the pickup screws and split coil pole pieces which can be cleaned off with the proper solution if desired. The switches could use a squirt of cleaner/lube. I haven't opened it in a long time
- Form fitted padded original hardshell case in excellent condition - there is some paint or tape residue on the exterior which can be removed with the proper solution
- Very rare it was a very very small production run
