For sale Ampeg 810E cabinet (1996)

I have an Ampeg 810E cabinet for sale. It is in very good condition, lightly used (I used it less than 10 times in the 18 years I've had it--our gigs haven't required it) and the sound (as you all know) can't be beat. It is just too heavy for an old guy like me. I have another cabinet in mind (Barefaced 6x10 from England, around 60 lb, but very expensive) so the accounting department says I need to get rid of something before I get something else. It is USA made and has reinforcing grommet screws holding down the grill baffle, a weak spot in the older cabs. These can be removed and high-strength Velcro strips put in or they can be painted flat black if you prefer the plain grill look. There is a small square piece of Tolex missing from the back bottom (can be seen in the picture of the back), but otherwise it in decent cosmetic shape. I can deliver it in the greater north bay area, but otherwise shipping would be on you. $500 firm.
