Don't know too much about these Fender Squier series basses, but this neck is excellent. It was made in Mexico. Plays fast and frets have almost no wear. Tuners are "licensed by schaller" and work great. Sets up great. Nut was changed because at one point it was going to have all black hardware, but it fits great. I'd really like to keep the neck, but need money to transition into my new job. Let me know if the price is too high or something, since these necks don't show up often. Thanks!

I believe these are from the very first generation of MIMs that in many cases, used necks and bodies from the US, but no way to know for certain. They saved money by using cheaper hardware and electronics, along with Mexican labor.

The Schaller tuners are better than MIM standard, though.

If this was maple, I'd be all over it - the price is good.
