I have for sale my Ibanez SR400 4 string bass. It is a real beauty that is hard to find in this color. It is a gorgeous Quilted Maple blue/purple depending on the lighting.
I love the tone of this bass, but I am a diehard 5 string player and just have no use for a 4 string bass and I'd rather someone play it than have it sit.
It comes with straplocks (not pictured...it's pictured with stock strap pegs or ghetto strap locks...i.e.- fender washers) and also will be shipped in an immaculate, never used Coffin Case (I always use a gig bag). It has a 3 band EQ and 9 volt preamp with two soapbar pups.
When I bought it, it already had two small dings on the back of the neck (see pic) and the output jack was replaced and someone must have dremmeled out the hole to fit a new jack in and you can see some cosmetic wear in the jack recess that was touched up (see pic). You can hardly notice it, especially when plugged in but I want you to be aware of it.
It plays super fast like SR necks do. It's very light, sounds great and I hate to sell it, but I'm doing some upgrades to my rig and 5 string bass and need to sell it for cash, so I am not interested in any trades.
It's $450 with the coffin case and FREE shipping anywhere in the lower 48 states. You won't find this QM blue/purple hardly anywhere. It will be boxed up and properly padded for safe shipping. Ask anyone who has dealt with me, I go overboard with packaging for shipment.
