The mojo factor is high in this one!
If you know Dan Electro / Silvertone instruments then you recognize this as one of the company's only long-scale bass designs; available only from 1967-8.
With two lipstick tube pickups and a full 33 1/2" scale, the 1443 is the company's most serious attempt at matching a Fender bass (the classic familiar Danelectro basses have a short 29 1/2" scale and one pickup)
Looks like the typical asking price for these is around $1K:

Mine has a gig bag and one pickup that is intermittent – (mostly “not there”) so my asking price is $695. (EDIT - lowered to $595 shipped CONUS) I will entertain offers, especially if you are local and I don’t have to pack and ship (and I'd love to be able to do the transaction in person, because I know that if you play this you will love it!)
More pics of it can be found at: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/870drd6ct19l2d7/AABONQqjh_upPcVMr6Wc8hcha?dl=0
If you have interesting trades, run them by me
Let me know!

BTW, I'm new to trying to sell something on Talkbass but I've been on ebay since Jun-23-98 with 250 100% positive transactions (user name pbrown1)
