For sale Fender Super '55 bridge pickups (2)

Couple questions:

1. Would you consider a straight sale on one of them and if so how much?

2. Are they truly silent? I need something to replace a single coil bridge pickup in my Fender PJ that buzzes too much for me.

Hi. Have yet to install. Reported to be hum-less and and more potent. Best value to me is as trade. Could sell one for $35.

I have a high-mass bridge from a Blacktop Jazz. I don't have a pic, but here's a link to a Stratosphere part-out with a decent shot. Interested in trading for one Super 55? If so, I'm just a bit south of you in the Wilmington area. We could meet up for a hand-off and save each other the hassles of packing & shipping.

Oh, and for anyone else interested; I have one of these Super 55's in the bridge position of a P/J project I completed earlier this year. Great pickup…no hum and a bit "beefier" than a standard single-coil.

On a related note, reddog; I also have the wiring harness, pickups and pickguard from a Blacktop Jazz. (all collected separately for another P/J project that I've had second thoughts over) Let me know if some/any interest you, 'kay?

I just I stalled them in my jazz bass and they sound great. And I can truly say the are noiseless not a single sound.

Do you install a pair of 55's or did you mix and match?

As I'm more of a p/j guy, I'm pausing to consider keeping the individuals for p/j projects
and selling off the paired jazz set I have.

Curious how they compare to Area j's, Model J's, Barts...

I used a set. Bought a neck off Amazon. But I'm sure the dimarzio sound is hard to beat. But probably not noiseless
