With great regret, I am putting up my emperor 5 for sale or trade, it has an ebony top with a walnut body and cherry tone block. i love everything about this bass, but its just a little too heavy for me. here are the specs.

There is a crack running thru the fingerboard, that was fixed by fodera many years ago and has not moved since. there is also an emperor plate fixed to the body, that was put on by fodera as well, to cover a previous owners name, which was inlaid in the body. this bass is a player and is no museum piece, but if your looking for a beautiful affordable fodera, this is the one. comes with a beat up but functional fodera teardrop hard case. mainly looking for cash but will consider partial or full trades for high end basses. $5800 obo
