G&L L-2500 USA 5-string Honeyburst finish with Quilted Maple top. Ebony fretboard with no front dots on Vintage Tint Neck, there are side dot markers. This bass plays very quick & easy with great action and has a beautiful deep growling present tone. It resonates great even unplugged. The controls allow a huge variety of sounds with 3-way pickup selector, treble-cut, bass-cut, series/parallel humbucker switching, active/passive, and treble boost.

I custom ordered this bass in Sept 2001, played it semi-regularly for about 2 years before taking a 9-year layoff from gigging. I have gotten back into playing now and realize I don't really play anything on the B string and prefer a narrower neck.

The Bass is in great shape with only 3 very minor blemishes of note. A pin prick near the bottom strap button which actually appears much larger in the super close up photo (the line to the left of this nick is a grain line not a scratch), a half-circle finish crack near the input, and at the very top of the headstock is a very difficult to see mar. This mar has no cracks and no paint transfer and is not really dented but I thought I'd mention it to be complete. There are typical playing swirls in the finish but no scratches whatsoever. The original hsc case is in fair shape, still overall very good but it has some paint transfers, some nicks and tiny tears in the tolex wrap. It always travelled in my car and I only gigged a couple times a month at most during this time. I have all the case candy.

I have tried to weigh this on my bathroom scale, but it only shows 1/2lbs and is a bit unstable. I would say it is probably greater than 10lbs.

Send any questions you have.
I will accept check or paypal.
I have a couple shipping boxes so everything should be well packed.

Do you know the nut width and string spacing at the bridge? (If not, measuring from the center of the B string to the center of the G is good!)

Looks like right about 11/16" string to string. I like this neck, which led me to switch to Jazz necks on my other basses.
