I am putting my mint condition top of the line Spector NS-5XL up for sale. Hand made in their Woodstock NY shop. 35" scale, high gloss walnut stained highly figured solid maple body wings, three piece rock maple neck through with graphite rods and dual action truss rod and ebony fingerboard with abalone crown inlays. EMG 40DC pickups with Spector 18v preamp. Gold hardware with Gotoh tuners and Schaller straplocks. Includes Spector HSC. You can't touch this bass new for under $6500. PayPal only.

Honestly this is the nicest Spector I've ever seen, great price too.

:smug: No not 11lbs but close. Like I said, the weight was never a problem and this baby plays like buttah. :thumbsup:

I'd like to also say that by definition a solid maple, neck through five string will never be a lightweight bass.

This bass balances well and with a good strap will give you hours of playing pleasure. I'm 59 and it's never bothered me.

I've always said it (and backed it up by buying several), Walnut stained Spectors are some kind of special! Pure class with a whole lot of badass!!!

Plus, Jeff is great to deal with!
