I am looking to trade my Schecter Hellraiser 5 (2008) for one of your Peavey 4 string Basses.
I am thinking along the lines of a T-20, Zodiac or maybe a Fury ...
I do not want a Millenium (don't like), or a Grind (already have one).
I would consider another Dyna-Bass, as long as it isn't red (Already have a red one)
Maybe something else I'm not aware of ? (I like surprises -- and crazy colors!)
I am not the original owner of the Schecter (pawn shop find), and do not have the original HSC, but I do have a (brand new) Gator Case for it. I also do not have the tools it may have come with (truss rod & saddle wrenches).
I will say that it sounds beautiful, and has incredible sustain. I'm not much of a 5 string person I guess, I kind of bought this on impulse. I cleaned it up nice and polished/waxed it, seasoned the fretboard(I think it's rosewood; it's not ebony like the newest models) but it could use a good cleaning of the hardware to make it truly shine.
There is a small chip on the bottom near the output jack (see photo). There is also one drill hole where the previous owner installed alternate strap locks (on the bottom).
There are a few light scratches on the back, and a small scratch on the headstock by the B tuning peg.
It is strung with a new (<10 hours) set of D'addario Nickel-wound super lights (.130-.45), and the action is very low.
