It is essentially two individual envelope filters in one. Each channel is independent and voiced differently. They can be used separately or mix in for different playing styles. It works for all sort of instruments (such as bass, guitar or keyboards) as there are frequency switches inside for finding the sweet spot as well as input pads to allow for different input gains.
